Saturday, 17th October - Artefact Handling in Birmingham Museum: Pre-Columbian America
Meet in the Round Room at 10.15 am for a hands-on session on the subject of Pre-Columbian America.
Philip Watson and his colleagues gave up their own time to run the sessions and we are very grateful to them. Thanks are due to many others who gave up their time and experience on the Society's visits (including this year Deborah Overton, Mike Stokes, Dave Symons, and everyone at BUFAU), but special mention must be made of our President, Dr Lawrence Barfield, who having arranged a visit to a Bronze Age site he was supervising at Shrewsbury, found himself unexpectedly having to drive almost 250 miles to be there for us.
